HighBrook and Equity Estate acquired the Groothandelsgebouw in 2018 by way of a share deal. The acquisition resulted in a delisting of
Groothandelsgebouwen N.V., a real estate company listed in the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
After managing the asset with the existing, on side team, HighBrook and Equity Estate decided to divest. Jamestown acquired the shares of the company in 2019, with a real estate value of EUR 289mn.
